The Team Leader will play an integral role in the success of our center by serving as a positive role model as well as creating meaningful relationships and being a supportive resource for our students, families and their team.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of exeperience in early childcare
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to foster trust and respect with children and parents
  • Strong level of patience and understanding of small children
  • Ability to communicate, train and educate children
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to be flexible in work and schedule
  • Strong management skills

Responsibilities

Provide supervisory support for schools with multiple buildings

• Assist in the management of the P&L reports as well as accounts receivables and payables

• Implement curriculum along with activities, special events and field trips in order to enhance learning

and development of children

• Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with parents and children

• Conduct tours for potential families

• Make decisions on behalf of school and assist the School Director in formulating procedures for

implementation

• Maintain a physical environment that conforms to licensing standards

• Develop community partnerships with agencies, organizations, and with all regulatory state and local

agencies

• Seek out grants and other collaborations as they become available

• Maintain staff and children's files in an organized, up-to date manner

• Follow and maintain state requirements regarding training for all staff, annually and upon hire

• Monitor and maintain an updated inventory of supplies, equipment and materials necessary to

execute program activities

• Order materials as required in accordance with state and budgetary guidelines

• Meet and maintain compliance with all state licensing and training requirements

• Maintain flexibility regarding the business demands of the school, including working in classroom and

other areas of the school when needed

• Prioritize and coordinate staff work assignments as needed

• Open and/or close the school when needed
